Modern houses these days are almost always built with a covered patio area as an extension of an open-plan kitchen, living and dining area, with large doors that open out to allow a continuous indoor/outdoor lifestyle that seamlessly flows right through. This was also the case for this stunning modern house located in Mernda.
The customers were noticing that they were spending a lot of time in the alfresco BBQ area, but they wanted to be able to enjoy it without the sun beaming through, or the rain forcing them back inside, but to still have some light and visibility to the rest of the backyard. When they came to us, we were aware they had already been searching around for some time trying to find the right company to go with. We helped by offering the customers a competitive price, and assured them that our product would provide them with all of the important features that were important to them- a taut fabric when closed, ease of operation, a clean sleek finish, and for there to be no gaps around the side channels and ground to ensure bugs were unable to crawl in when closed.
The customers were also requiring a retractable fly screen for the master bedroom to allow a breeze to come through their French doors when open, as well as a sliding barrier door for their laundry. Being able to provide all of these products for the customer made us the right company to put their faith in to complete the task.
The installation process took place over three days, with the retractable fly screen and barrier door being installed first as they were ready within 2 weeks, and another two days for the Zipscreen patio blinds to be installed, which were ready within 4 weeks from order confirmation. The Zipscreens took one day to install, with one extra day for final screen adjustments and surrounding flashing to be applied to complete the job.
We hope that our customers get the most out of their new alfresco Zipscreen blind system, and that it provides them the flexibility all year round that they desire.
